Berlin street lamps

Here are are few of some interesting street lamps , Berlin is full of many different shapes and sizes from ultra modern to old and traditional. I have also posted the little crossing man that amused me ! 

East Berlin

Such an interesting city! It is hard to tell which of the old buildings are original and which have been rebuilt after the all the bombing during the war. 

The Cathedral below  is a relatively new building 

They are rebuilding the Palace at the moment 

Below is the government buildings , they have built a new Dome in the centre, we will visit it tomorrow where you can walk around the Dome to get a panoramic view of the city .

Dyeing fabric

I have been busy dyeing some fabric as per usual , trying out different colours . I put them on the line to dry but as they were so wet I left them out overnight and this morning they were stiff as boards ,ha ha !  !
