Masks from Northern Canada

Diane and myself have got together and have made these masks inspired by the Craftsmen of Northern Canada.

Binding my Indian Journal

I have been busy stitching up my Indian journal ready to mount all my samples.
If you colour your pages with Indian spices like I did, it looks lovely and smell delicious but it will make you sneeze ! the chilli seems to hang around for ages. Also, wear gloves because if you touch your eyes with chilli fingers they WILL burn.
My work room now smell like an Indian take a way !
I am off now to make some lunch all this work has made me hungry

What a fright

Heard strange noises in my hall, it sounded alive!
Frightened to death and after an upheaval search found out that it was the Christmas wreath rubbing the front door in this high wind.
That's it, the decs have got to come down !

Needle felted seal

This is my first attempt at felting this cute little seal. I think I need to practise on a whole colony. But, he does make me smile, so must be granted the seal of approval.

RecycledTea Bag Book - Choose to Reuse

This little book is created entirely from tea bags with the exception of the card which is made from the tea bag box.

The paper covering the book was made of tea bags, tea stained and then coloured with inks.
The rose is made of round tea bags and the pages are also made of teabags and because they are used they create a lovely aged paper look.

Tea Bag Books

Ironing done ! All tea bags neatly pressed. I know my family think I am mad too !

I have decided to make some little tea bag books
making them is prooving to be lots of fun.

I went to the seaside the other day, the weather was gorgeous for this time of year and I took some lovely photographs. then disaster happened, I dropped my camera in the sand !! Cameras definitley don't like sand. So when I have got around to replacing it I will post some pictures of the little books
