Mudeford spit

A lovely friend has lent me her beach hut for the week end, and we are staying in it over the week end . It is a good excuse to stitch beech huts without it feeling too 'cheesy'! The weather is holding and we are making good use of the beach and the harbour, bbqs and wine!!! Therefor not a lot of sketching done .

I kind friend organised a workshop for me to go to yesterday, . I came away with this lovely split thong leather bound book. We had a lovely day and the college even provided us with free coffee and cake !!!!

To create this page Tissue paper was bonded onto felt to create a background. The design was then stencilled using acrylic paint and the leaves were then outlined using metallic thread.

India is speechless, where do you start the noise, colour, smell, sounds, and even more colour. People are friendly and lots of smiling faces especially the children.
You can't be in a rush as everyone else is and you will only find a cow to block your way. Food is excellent but you have to like lentils and curry to really experience it.

My snowman

I have been taking advantage of all the snow and 'snow dyeing' great fun but my fingers are now covered with dye and as a friend said she was over enthusiastic that the blackbirds are now going round with green feet !
Also, I just could help myself I just had to build a snowman!

But , yes, you spotted it they are raisins ... You did not expect me to that energetic did you ?
