RecycledTea Bag Book - Choose to Reuse

This little book is created entirely from tea bags with the exception of the card which is made from the tea bag box.

The paper covering the book was made of tea bags, tea stained and then coloured with inks.
The rose is made of round tea bags and the pages are also made of teabags and because they are used they create a lovely aged paper look.

Ironing done ! All tea bags neatly pressed. I know my family think I am mad too !

I have decided to make some little tea bag books
making them is prooving to be lots of fun.

I went to the seaside the other day, the weather was gorgeous for this time of year and I took some lovely photographs. then disaster happened, I dropped my camera in the sand !! Cameras definitley don't like sand. So when I have got around to replacing it I will post some pictures of the little books

I have been collecting all these tea bags for the choose to reuse fair on the 3rd of December. I never knew we drank so much tea in our household. !!

Watch this space as they develop into an object that I can take to the fair.
What they will become is a mystery.
I am now off to iron them and to seek inspiration !

WOOLSACK is all about British wool, the importance of wool in England's history while recognising what wool has to offer the UK today. They will be sharing this with the athletes by making personal gifts for them that are beautiful, functional and are a little bit of Britain to take home with them.

has an exhibition on at the moment that you may like to visit on
' Quilts from the British Isles'

By Design is also exhibiting there titled 'Structured'

What do the tutors do in the holidays?

After a full day of promoting Taut Threads Diane and myself had a fun evening in Leeds with the renowned chef Simon Phillips and learned how to make Sushi. Is this inspiration for stitch I wonder?
